37F Yamaha DT200 engine #18

Complete engine for the 1984 Yamaha DT200 model 37F. Looks to be in good condition, turns over freely by hand, piston clean when viewed up the exhaust port. Comes ignition rotor and stator, powervalve & pulley housing, various cables, two-stroke oil pump, covers etc - please see photos for condition. The paint on the outside is a bit flaky from poor storage, but the paint on the inside of reed housing looks like the engine hasn't done much mileage. This engine is very popular, as it fits into the Yamaha RD125 chassis of the same era. Ideal for those who had a 125 back in the late 1980s, but riding one some 40 years later have found the 125 engine a bit underpowered. These are so much better than a big bore, as the DT200 engine has a longer stroke and bore, making for a much more balanced and reliable engine.
