New 4DP 4TW Yamaha TZ250 leak down tester kit. Covering 1991 to 1997 models.
An essential tool allowing you to test for air leaks in your engine. Use this kit to plug the exhaust port and inlet manifold, then pump in 4 to 5 psi in to test for leaks. Check the psi reading after 5 to 10 minutes and if the pressure remains the same, you have an efficient, well sealed and effective motor. If your engine does lose pressure, then you have a leak - risking seizure, loss of power or engine failure. You can trace leaks once the engine is sealed and filled with 4 to 5 psi. Simply apply warm soapy water over joining surfaces of carb manifold, cylinder base, head etc. Fix these leaks to avoid an unwanted seizure or loss of power.
Price is for 4 pieces, to seal complete 250cc twin engine. We also sell 2 piece kits for the TZ125cc for £60.
