2XT Yamaha TZR250 crankcases #V1 vapour blasted *pitted

2XT Yamaha TZR250 crankcases #V1 *pitted. These have been professionally vapour blasted, so they are clean. This engine had a very rusty crank and was sat for a long time in a dirty fuel, water mix. The cases show pitting from when the aluminium has reacted with the crank web rusting. Priced accordingly. We have enjoyed good success repairing this with JB weld, which is a liquid aluminium paste and fills imperfections. It also allows you to improve the gas flow within the cases for improved performance. Granted they don't look pretty, but still work and can be filled back to their former beauty. These are from the 1988 Japanese model, with wider reed housing. Ideal for those chasing maximum power. These are interchangeable with TZR250, R1-Z and TDR250 engines, allowing the use of larger reed valve and manifold set (we have these available, listed separately).
