3ET Yamaha DT200 engine #2. Complete engine for the Yamaha DT200 3ET from 1988. Engine turns over freely by hand and the piston looks clean when viewed up the exhaust port. Comes with YPVS pulley housing, servo, ignition rotor and stator, covers - see photos. The 3ET is the rarest of the DT200 models, running only 2 years before the WR200 3XP was released. As such, it is difficult to source and commands a premium. This model has a steel liners in the cylinders, so can be rebored. The technology is a step up from the earleier 37F, as this is the first year Yamaha introduced two additional auxillary exhaust ports, complimenting the main exhaust - adding a lot of power. In Japan these are popular with riders fitting them to the TZR125 and TDR80. With it's big bore and long stroke, the 200cc motor really packs a punch at 34bhp as standard.
